↑ Substitutes are part of the pre-match briefing and are fully disclosed to the formation the manager will be playing; that includes potential formation changes during the game.

I'm by no means an ardent Emery enthusiast, but pinning Iwobi's lack of cognizance on the manager is next level grasping.

The fact that Iwobi went to ask another player, proves that he knew he could attain this information by asking someone who has been paying attention.

It doesn't get better than that does it, as a retort to stupidity.

If.

I have to agree with this.

To be honest I am not surprised by this.

After one entire season, I am still not sure exactly what or how he wants to play.

The team is still searching for an identity under Emery.

It’s been so damn obvious.
3 at the back, 2 at the back
3 in front, 2 in front
Flat 3 midfield, diamond 4 midfield
Full backs or wing backs

He’s confused.

Norwich a promoted side play better football than us.
Weird timeline but I'm sure Emery is going to turn it around soon. ;)

Arsenal are above Norwich.

I know which I'd prefer.

Arsenal has better players and pays like 10x what Norwich do in wages and transfer fees and plays the ugliest football in the league.

So far this season is looking suspiciously similar to last season.

Especially at Arsenal. We've won the biggest honors playing sexy football.

Even during Graham's era, some 600 years ago, it was nothing as ugly as it was when Chelsea won the UCL.

Not sure where people get this notion that playing ugly means trophies galore.
