It's about having Laca beside him more than the position he plays in imo

Auba does not hold the ball up as well as laca, but today the tactic was ping long balls over the top for auba and pepe, Emery conceded the secondary balls away before we got on the pitch was park the bus Sam allerdice style

With the chances that he gets he should be putting them in the net more, lets hope he finds his shooting boot soon.

He had a really solid patch of scoring last season, but before that he was continually declining season over season with conversion was it? Or was it big missed chances in general. I forgot the stat. But I think that’s why Laca is so important to his game, because he helps a lot.

Hes one of only 5 players to score 25 goals or more in the last 5? seasons or something like that.

When he stops scoring hes in decline. Until then.....

It was an actual stat going around when statisticians were talking about Arsenal. I’m only saying I think he needs Laca up front.

Yeah laca does get the best out of him tbh, they work so well together and complement each other's weaknesses/strengths so well.

Honestly think them two and pepe together as a trio will be dynamite.

Re the missed chances start, I'd be genuinely concerned if he wasn't golden boot holder or contender for the last 5 years. That alone says hes an amazing player because he gets himself into situations to miss those chances, while also still scoring a shit ton.

Hes an amazing player and we are lucky to have him tbh.

I really want that front line as well. I think next game they all have to start. He can play with midfield however he likes, we need those three at the front.

Where do you suppose Auba will end in the list of premier league goal scorers? I think between Giroud and Bergkamp.

Thierry Henry 175
Ian Wright 104
Robin van Persie 96
Dennis Bergkamp 87
Olivier Giroud 73
Theo Walcott 65
Robert Pires 62
Alexis Sánchez 60
Freddie Ljungberg 46
Emmanuel Adebayor 46
Aaron Ramsey 40
Cesc Fàbregas 35
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang 34

Wasting his talents by playing him out wide.
