Nice strawman attempt.

Saying it's a horrible deal is not the same as saying Ceballos is a horrible player.

He's talking about the fact it's a loan, the actual deal, not player.

Plus I just searched Zedie's posts in this thread and he never said the deal was horrible so you failed on two fronts.

Add those to the list along with:

45m is a perfectly fine gross budget for this season

It will take 10 years to rebuild arsenal

Sell auba start nketiah

Etc.

The list is endless.

Honestly his only mistake is indulging obnoxious people like yourself.
His hairline must be receding at an astounding rate.

Clean shave as standard. Hairline was holding me back from arguing on the internet with short story merchants.

Are all the ex Arsenal mania pubbers bald and short ?

My sources say you're 14 years old and cant handle your anger issues about Emery.

45m Net.
5-10 yrs

Auba has started really well. Happy we didn't sell him if he continues on this vein and doesn't miss the chances he did last year.
Nketiah is a top talent.

As this is the Ceballos thread, I am just happy that we have people in charge of transfers now that know what they are doing instead of clowns who wouldn't have signed Ceballos because they don't like loan deals as they think it makes us like Crystal Palace.

Nketiah is not top talent. He is average.

We'll see how that one turns out.
I think we can close the book on whether loaning Ceballos was a good thing, though. It was, and I don't feel it made us look like Crystal Palace at all.
Well done to Kroenke and team for bringing him in.

Just watched him again on MOTD.

Even better than I remember it live. Danny Murphy reckons we’ve got a fantastic player.

We havent had a central midfielder who can control the pace of play for years. Hence we never look in control of matches. Since santi we have had very poor cms. So he can be huge for us

Celballos is one of our most important signings. Having someone with his ability in CM changes the whole flow our game. Hopefully Emery keeps Xhaka out of the team. That guy is a burden.

Just watched the game and this is the type of player we’ve been waiting for! Creative, makes things happen, on the front foot, I could keep going! If he can keep this sort of form for us for the season, then my confidence in what we are capable of will rise considerably.

More of a cam to me. Needs to be behind our forwards

As Backstreet Boy said, he's a bonafide CM. That's how great CMs who aren't DMs play.

Dejano lad, you've been watching us field some awful CMs, some CMs who can't play as CMs, some CMs who're so lopsided, and some who're plain bad, that you've forgotten how a good CM looks. ;)

He can play as a CAM. But it's not his best position. I wouldn't be surprised if your Don played him as a CAM though. He'd play Xhaka there with Luiz and Chambers behind him if he could. :hiding:
