74-year-old Aduriz taking care of business.

Valverde is AWFUL.

Messidependence every single game. I can't believe he's still there.

R.I.P. Messi

Will waste away in his final years. Sad.

Couldn't happen to a better club :) screw those sanctimonious twats.

But San Mames is a fortress. Very difficult to go in there and get points.

Aduriz is a monster, but the commentary on this makes it goal of the season, regardless of what happens this season.

This loss indicates the following:

Valverde is still not good for the job, perhaps the team is bigger than him. There's need for improvement in his player selection.

Absolute over reliance on Messi is still in existence. Despite the presence of many heavy names eg Griezmann the team still lacks a well to do talisman.

Jordi Alba still got a lot to do. His crosses lack delivery. It's high time the club start tasting Junior Firpo.

Sergi Roberto is NOT a first option in midfield.

Dembele is performing below expectations. The supposed "Neymar replacement" is very wrong. He's performing averagely.

Finally, this is a sign that Laliga is going to be very competitive and retaining the title will be a very difficult task.

@ Los and Vava

Here's a list of managers Messi has played under since his first-team debut for Barca.

- Rijkaard
- Pekerman
- Basile
- Pep
- Batista
- Maradona
- Vilanova
- Martino
- Sabella
- Enrique
- Bauza
- Valverde
- Sampaoli
- Scaloni

:rofll:

In contrast, let's look at Ronaldo:

- Boloni
- SAF
- Scolari
- Queiroz
- Pellegrini
- Bento
- Mourinho
- Ancelotti
- Santos
- Benitez
- Zidane
- Allegri
- Sarri (soon)

The difference is night and day.

So apparently, Real Madrid are above Barca in the league for the first time in 27 months.

I believe it's almost the same timeframe as Arsenal being above City atm.
