Suarez and Griezmann did not speak and did not even look at each other during the first training together. Suarez once said about him ‘You are French and do not know what the feelings of being Uruguayan’.

Suarez is such a rat lmao. He is making sure that Griezmann doesnt have it easy at Barcelona as he wants to keep his spot.

At this rate, I doubt Zidane makes it to Xmas.

Bring on Mourinho: Part 2.

If Real are out of the title race by Christmas, do you think Zidane would be sacked, or will Perez wait for the UCL result/until the end of the season?

Depends on socio pressure, I'd wager.

The general census among all Madridistas seems to prefer a league title over a CL right now (obviously a double is always preferable, but if only one could be chosen) since it's going on three seasons without one, and the dream of La Decima was realized years ago. Barca is two league titles away from the gap being able to be counted on one hand, so a bigger cushion is the more urgent matter at the moment.

When Zidane was hired the second time around, most Madridistas were willing to give him time to rebuild, but this summer has made a lot of people agitated. I guess it goes to show that even a club legend like Zizou is on a short lease.

^ Interesting.

Barca have won La Liga 8 out of the last 11 seasons. In the league, Real have been hopelessly outclassed by Barca. They've also finished behind Atleti for two seasons running now.

Had THAT goal counted, Real wouldn't have won the title under Zidane either. So, yeah - the League has to be at the top of Real's priority.
