For all his faults he still scores goals and tracks back, we could of used a good back up striker unless Nketiah's progress is sped up.

Pretty much this.

One of the few players in our squad, who despite his faults, has been an excellent professional who gave it his all every time when called upon.

Even though there are people who insist he lacks end product, for a utility player, he still has a very decent goal/assist return relative to minutes played.

For reference (goals and assist per 90') -

    0.603 - Danny Welbeck

    0.561 - Mesut Özil

    0.486 - Aaron Ramsey

    0.402 - Alex Iwobi

The reason I included Özil, Ramsey and Iwobi in the comparison is because Welbeck has spent more time playing in other positions than as central striker.

Think that's not a bad move for him tbh.

I think he'd be valued at Watford, suits him.

Good move for Welbeck and Watford.

And their training ground is about three minutes drive from ours, so no real change to his lifestyle.

Would much rather see him line up against us than Troy deeney.

I don't know. You can never account for the chaos factor. At least with Deeney, you know what you're going to get.
