What you guys talking about lol. Atletico Madrid has alreach reached agreement with RM for Marcus Llorente (40M), who is a Rodri replacement.

Another key player that needs shifting. It will be near impossible to play a solid attacking or high pressing game if he continues to start games. We should just sell him because I would rather spend a year developing a young player with more potential over someone that doesn't have the mentality or physical attributes to do what we need from that role.

Lost count of the amount of times I’ve shouted “don’t foul him!”, right before he fouls someone.

Off load at all costs, I honestly think Willock would be better, more movement, better at going forward.

Xhaka minus his long range strikes is just sh*t.

It's the pantomime 'he's behind you' moments that really piss me off. He doesn't have the awareness or quick feet to get himself out of trouble when pressed. Always gets the ball pinched off his feet.

These days his position and the way the game is played requires him to be more technically gifted than he is, so yes, if we can do better then by all means get rid.

I wish we had a younger version of Cazorla or Rosicky in this team. A player of that sort of quality in CM just changes the pace of our game and our build up play.

Both of those got bullied. I wish we had a young Vieira with either a young Gilberto or a young Petit next to him. I wish we had a midfield who just powered their way through opponents.

Gilberto would do nicely.

Neither were bullied. Best performance from a duo in a while was Cazorla and Coquelin vs City. We need a more technical CM next to Torriera who can do the dirty work and sweep up. We bought Xhaka for his physical presence but players with Vieira like qualities don't come around often.

ARSENAL could hand Granit Xhaka club captaincy in a bid to fend off transfer interest from Atletico Madrid.

Looks like he ain't going nowhere.

Kos is finished, Cech and Ramsey gone, Ozil will be sold or benched....Xhaka is the last man standing for the original five captains. The fact that he was given a contract extension along with the armband in the first place suggests Unai rates him highly and despite all the mistakes last season he was still a first team starter.
