I don't think he will be going anywhere this summer.

The Klopp Factor.

I'd presume Xhaka would do well under the likes of Klopp, Pep, Conte, Simeone, etc.

He is a CM that can play ~45-50 games a year and won't be in a hospital for 50% of his contract term. When your EL final squad has Danny f***ing Welbeck on the bench despite not playing any football for > 6 months, Xhaka is not the first name that comes to mind when you think 'squad clear-out'.

He'll be here next season so best get used to it now.

Agree 100% with this. He has everything to be a top class player. People forget he's only 20 years old.

Xhakha close to signing Inter. I like him, but he is too error prone, so could be a good deal for us.

That is because Henderson has Salah and Mane playing on the wings. To win trophies, you need a top class wide forward, something we have not had since Alexis left.

Loan or permanent?

If it's the latter, hope we can mug off Inter and recoup most of what we paid for him.

This would signal a very very positive view of how Emery is going to react to the abject failure of his players last season.
Xhaka was a £40m waste - worse, he actually hurt us with all his mistakes

Please God if we can sell xhaka and mustafi even At 85 percent of their total I'll be happy. We need funds and nobody is touching ozil for his unearned wage. If these rumblings of early transfer activity are true then I'm very intrigued to see these guys work. Much better than no news until August. Emery won't get 15 years like Wenger same goes for Raul. Like I said once before kroenke is an idiot but his son is the reason shit changed last year and pushed arsene out the door.

Xhaka has a lot of good qualities (seriously he does) but he's not at the level needed to compete for EPL or CL .... The Don getting rid is a positive statement of intent, do we have a ready made DM pairing? no we don't so if Xhaka goes then buying an upgraded DM is a must ....

Milivojevic, Ndidi, Neves, Rice all possible ....

Fabinho, Jorginho, Kante, Wijnaldum, Fernandingo, Silva ... not likely

or we go hunting in Europe more risky with no EPL credentials but we found Torreira so why not .....

Conte managing Xhaka? Either Xhaka will have a world class season, or Xhaka simply won't make it back alive.

Xhaka is perfect for Italian football, he’ll thrive as a regista

If we can recoup near what we paid for him then do it ASAP

100%. He will be amazing for Inter - perfect for him and us. Sometimes your style of play is not suited for the league.
