But our team is prone to getting f***ked in the back end. Either fund the manager or get rid of him . Asking him to use this defence and wide players is hilarious

Look at their attack, the only threat is Hazard. If Emery can't even control one player, irrespective of the quality of players at his disposal, how can he take no blame? If seen worse teams than ours shut down Messi...

Pedro or iwobi
Hazard or ozil
Willian or iwobi
Christiansen or mustafi
Jorginho or xhaka
Azpi or Monreal

Tell me which ones are better?

In fact, swap out players if you think those comparisons are unfair...

Xhaka is better than Jorginho and was excellent first half. Kolasinac was garbage getting the ball under control, we should have scored at least one.
Hazard is better than Ozil
Azpi should be compared to our first choice RB, since he was playing at RB, and that's Bellerin, and there's no doubt at all on that. Christiansen should be compared with one of the CB's playing, not one on the bench.

We absolutely lost it in the second half, they are not that much better than us.

This isn't Liverpool or City, who are miles ahead of us. This is another average team like us, with one star player that was the difference.

You want to compare?

Giroud or Auba? Giroud or Laca?

Comparing wingers when we started with none. Doing a biased player comparison with some players who didn't even start. If there was a point being made, I don't see it.

Forget all that average shit.Who's worse. Pedro is clutch. He f***ing scores when it's matters.

Who gives a f**k about his spin moves , flints and other. He's effective and puts the ball in the net.

Aesthetic, eye pleasing ain't enough. Effectiveness is al that matters.

Giroud always put out in these B level trophies... FA CUP and Europa.

is he bettre than laca or auba? i dont really think so. he has a niche where his record is very good though.

Been wondering the same.

He's not your ideal striker for the league. But he's always done the job in cup competitions. Did it for us. Has done it for Chelsea.

MOTM today.

He's a better finisher than both of them.
He's also a better team player than Auba.

What we really need now is to rebuild and that means cashing in on players who have big names and hype but are not good enough or don;t really have their heart in the club.

Auba and Ozil are the two players we can sell and get about £100m. Both are 30ish and neither is going to get any better. Boost the coffers another £100m or so by selling 4 or 5 more players and then take £100m from our swelling bank account and have a transfer kitty of £300m for the summer. That is the only way we can seriously start to rebuild the complete mess Wenger left us in.

This summer is how I will judge Emery. If he hasn't realised that major surgey is needed, he is an idiot OR just here for the cash.

Yes, we'd have lost 6-1.
Both are utter shit.

Pedro is great, total professional and a f***ing steal at £21m when Barca sold him.

Giroud also did the job. Shit in the league, but like Torres, scored a few important goals for them.

we start kola and amn as wide attacking players, ffs

To be fair Niles played really well going forward and wasn’t afraid to take on the last defender to try and create the chances. On the other side Kola never once took on the last defender and just kept passing inside or back. The only time he got a cross in was when Xhaka split the defense....but even then he never made a decent pass/cross. Not good enough....get rid!
