And also I don't buy the argument that Wenger left shit players, if they were shit we wouldn't be battling for 3rd place on 66 pts with 5 games to go. And also don't give me that cobblers about Emery working miracles, its simply a case of better management, yes plus the players playing more to their potential. Its unison of the 2 things.

Its not that he was left all sh*t players, its about he's had to transition them to play his way, also some may be ok but not be able to play his way, look how long its been for him and Ozil to get back on the same page.

Its all debut season issues.

............ and we're still achieving despite that hence why he should be afforded a bit of slack even though he barely needs slack atm.

Unai Emery has done us proud.

His high pressure, well managed games and good tempo and not afraid to play 2 strikers etc.

He's not the best manager in the Prem, but he's right up there top 5 I'd say.

We're in a great position for top 4 and possibly a EL final.

Last two games have shown, he's organised the team enough that we can now see out 1-0 games without crapping our pants and making ridiculous errors.

Even when we're playing poorly our game management has improved loads.

Don't get ahead of yourself. :naughty:

A European SF already matches last season. Now, let's win it.

Emery doing amazing so far. I'm here to say one thing. If Emery gets us top 4 + Europa League, I don't want to hear Wenger's name EVER AGAIN.

In over 20 years Wenger has won NOTHING in Europe. Couldn't even see out a 1-0 win against 10 man Atletico Madrid. Our invincibles crumbled against Chelsea in the Champions League. By the time Wenger left he turned Arsenal into a LAUGHING STOCK in Europe and yet we just slapped Italy's second best team without conceding a single goal.

If we beat Chelsea in the final of the Europa League which could easily happen, Wenger will have been outdone in Europe in a single season by Emery. (We had great seasons in CL under Wenger I admit but we ultimately won nothing and actually we bottled a lot of those even though we played nice football but after 2011 we became a JOKE in Europe.)

I'm getting ahead of myself but Emery's doing well. Still can't believe we didn't get rid of Wenger sooner, we also could have had Klopp whose FIRST CHOICE was Arsenal not Liverpool.

Ignoring the fact that we will probably be favourites for 3rd at the end of the weekend despite you saying top 4 was gone

6 goals conceded in 14 games. He’s sorting us out at last imo.

Apparently he's got the most wins from first 50 games as Arsenal manager than any other arsenal manager.

Yep. And can we just talk about how boring the football is. I miss Cesc’s through balls, and I miss na na na Nasri, and I miss Ade and van Persie, and I miss Hleb darting down the flanks, and I miss Pat Rice shouting go to the ball.

Scored 66 goals this season

At this stage in 05/06 we had 54
06/07 we had 54
In 07/08 we had 63
08/09 we had 58
66 in 10/11
66 in 11/12
