............. name me a European Power that doesn't have a blood shed history.

Tbf I get tired of this Anglo shaming that goes on, I could start a looooong list if you like of other countries atrocities.

Not just European powers either.

Don’t mention China, or Japan, or the Middle East, or North Africa... and so on.

But as you say, some people choose to monotonously focus on the British.

15 year old kid shot twice in the head by a professional soldier

I repeat. Shot in the head twice.

Its not wrong that he's facing a trial. The length of time passed is horrendous and it does in my personal opinion weaken the case, but that is for a jury to consider

How can an American pipe up for gods sake. :rofll:

You only stopped slavery like yesterday plus Hiroshima, only Western country to have used a Nuke in history, the decimation of the Native Indians ........... and the whole of the 20th and 21st Century.

So I can't comment on other injustices because I was born in America?

My dad is British btw and I've lived in London half my life and I'm half Irish so I feel qualified to voice my opinion.

You're talking about the uprisings against Britain?

Well no shit, it's almost like they wanted to be free of the British ruling their country.

Well as I’ve said, lots of innocent people died, and lots of people who committed atrocities have been virtually pardoned.

What’s good for the goose etc. You can’t amnesty one and continue to prosecute the other.

Bullshit

Youre comparing a paid soldier, being paid to keep the peace, with a terrorist

Your comparison

You choose. Are the British Army paid professionals and therefore accountable, or are they equal to terrorists and thugs?

Your missing the point.

There were atrocities on both sides unless you guys are going to start piping up for the IRA as well?

We however freed all their political prisoners with the Good Friday agreement, but now they're harping on about crimes 20 years old even though theirs were basically pardoned.

Yes but what are you getting at?

Are you suggesting murder is okay so long as the killer and victim are around the same age?

................ everyone soldier or terrorist is accountable for a crime equally, there is no moral high ground here.

Terrorists who are breaking more laws of illegally possessing arms etc are breaking more laws than the soldier.
