I think we should change the rules as it’s too bloody difficult to score points! How about getting a point for predicting the right result, if not the score. Another point for the right number of goals predicted from each side and five points for getting the whole score line result right??

We tried a similar format in the UCL predictions but after a while the leader would end up 20-30 points ahead.

A low point system at least keeps things exciting until the last few days of the season and doesn't cause trailing participants to throw in the towel prematurely.
