Got married in Pakistan during an NLD back in November 2015.

Wenger was in charge. Didn't care that I missed it.

Ended 0-0 anyway

Congratulations and impeccable scheduling!

Let's hope you enter the church with a big smile.

Thank you my Royal Gooner brethren.
I won't be entering a church that day but I'll be packing a big smile indeed once we beat these scum and send them to bed empty handed.

You have a good excuse

I on the other hand had to turn down a ticket to this because I had invited a friend over to stay without first checking the date

A f***ing non-football supporting friend as well.

Jesus wept

What kind of friend wouldn't understand if you told him hey can we start our Saturday after 4 pm because the team I support has its match of the season and I have a ticket for it.

Jesus wept as he was familiar with the concept of bad friends all too well :arse fan:

My wedding will be held in Turkey, near Istanbul. (If a fellow Gooner wishes to join and party they are all most welcome to do so), I don't live there so imagine all the effort I did to make sure all of this is possible.

I arranged for the photo shoot to have 2 parts. One in our wedding outfits in a nice area and the second part with Arsenal jerseys on them sitting in a sports bar watching the game with our family and friends.

Game finishes 16.30 at Turkish time and I agreed with my family that the pre wedding ceremonial things that will happen that day (Picking her up with a convoy of honking cars, dancing in the streets in front of her door, paying the brother money to open the door in the first place, paying off all the cars that block your road) all these kinds of things will take place AFTER 5 PM that way I don't have to rush and can finish the game before moving on.

I really don't want to find out if I'll be happy or not on my wedding if we don't win..lets just win and I'll be happy for sure!

I'm in the never getting married again crew. ;)

I think it was Jim Carey who said "Whoever invented marriage was a psychopath", "hey I love you so much lets get the Government involved so you can never leave me".

Does seem kind of strange when you put it like that.

Could be an even more interesting game depending on the midweek results.. if we can beat Bournmouth and if Chelsea can take points from Spurs, we could go to within 1 or 2 points of Spurs if we beat them... I think it is crucial to our top 4 hopes to catch Spurs.., I really don;t see us coming out on top of a race between 3 clubs for one place, but we might sneak it on a 2 in 4 situation.

No chance Spurs drop out of Top 3. Hope they beat Chelsea.

We have a sweet problem. Many players lately on good form. Would go with:

Leno
Jenkinson - Papa - Koscielny - Kolasinac
Torreira - Xhaka
Mkhi - Özil - Auba
Laca

Subs: Cech - Mustafi - Monreal - Guendouzi - Ramsey - Iwobi - Suarez

Two impact subs, Ramsey and Iwobi, on zhe bench is also good.
