RIP Gordon.

Can we bin this thread? It's a bit crass.

Go back to individual threads for those who people want to start one for. Others can be mentioned in general chit chat

We could at least change the title to something a bit more respectful.

The Dear Departed.

The brothers and the sisters who have gone to Gloryland.

Dead and Thread rhyme. That’s why I called it that.

Do we need a separate thread for everyone who dies? How long would it last? A few posts?

I think the Bowie one still pops up at times.

I don't personally care either way. It kind of seemed like the more popular ones got their own thread and the less popular go in here. Or if the way a person died is a huge talking point, I can see having a thread for that.

Talking of dead people, I saw that Salah had to be identified by his fingerprints, as his head was so badly damaged by the impact that he was unrecognisable. So at least the didn't know much about it!

Great performance in Downfall which of course spawned all those parodies

Someone should make a Downfall parody

"Hitler finds out Bruno Ganz is dead"

He was great in Downfall.

He also played a great part in The Baader Meinhoff Complex. Another great film.
