GF made carrot fries. I was like wtf but okay, why not?

Deep fried? Can't imagine a healthy eating GF would do that....but oven cooked is roasted veg, so not exactly chips! :?

The other day my girls were oven cooking brocolli.....I mean WTF? I actually like brocolli, but it was just awful oven cooked/roasted!

Nah, tossed in olive oil then roasted (baked?) in the oven. They were half blackened in the end, but didn't taste burnt at all, only a sweet-ish flavor profile. Not the healthiest thing, but better than deep fried.

You don't liked roasted broccoli?! That's the best way to cook them imo (steamed and boiled are okay, but too bland for me). Although steaming/boiling them is better than doing the same with brussels sprouts. Roasting them is the only way I'll eat them; completely inedible otherwise lol

You'll get used to it and s/he will get used to your ways, more importantly. How old is s/he?

awwwww.....love a puppy! Mine's 11 now but he only whined one night when he was a pup and then as good as gold. You need to spend more time with it, so take your duvet downstairs and sleep next to it for a while. :P

She’s only 9 weeks old a lil miniature Dachshund but f**k me the whining pierces the ears

She’s pretty much perfect bar the odd shit on the floor and is starting to learn to go on the training mats we’ve got

It’s just being left alone she doesn’t like at the minute, she’ll get used to it right

Right
RIGHT?

Sweet! But you have to help her adjust and that means spending a lot more time with her at night and slowly reducing. She needs to know you're there and will slowly get used to being by herself. Dogs are like kids.....some need a lot more patience than others, so you have to put the effort/time in I'm afraid.

Yeah roasted veg is very trendy these days and quite healthy as its just olive oil. Just found broccoli burns and tastes like its burnt, so much prefer boiled just enough so its firm but tender. Not the greatest veg eater tbh though, much prefer crisps and cakes, hence I have a cross trainer I use a lot! :?

Yeah we try to go down once every 3 hours or so at night so it doesn’t seem like we’re responding to her crying and whining but just for reassurance

I’m f***ing dying at work though

Has anyone else noticed that every area seems to have a "special needs" cafe

A cafe where all the local misfits hang out

A mix of people with learning disabilities, unemployables and low level junkies

I'm in one at the moment. Might get another cup of tea and enjoy being the richest man in the room for another 10 mins

She will.

She’s calling for pack members. Dogs are not solitary animals, and unless they know that someone will be back for them they’ll cry when they’re pups. But yeah in the end they get to know that you’ll be back in a few hours so they relax.

I wouldn't

VaVa will probably try to make a coat out of it then refuse to show pics of the finished product

When they're young you should let them sleep in your room if you value any sort of sleep.

Puppies are babies, they don't like being on their own, just put her basket in your room until she's a few months older and save yourself the howling.
