Or, because the manager expects everyone to play as a DM, wing back, or a defender. :dontknow:

Rabiot has yet to show any ability to be a good box to box.

He is a good player but he seems a bit entitled, you take him for free but he will not come here.

Dont need unless we unload Xhaka. Even then hope We dont go Rabiot, Torreira and Guendouzi midfield. Its defensive and i know Emery will use that trio together.

How in gods name would we be able to compete for this guy? He is leaving on a free and can get paid better at at least 10 other clubs.

Eww no. I don't wanna have the club have to deal with his mother. Too much baggage to be worth it.

With Ramsey gone and Ozil likely to leave in the summer, we're already saving £470k in wages per week. Cech is retiring so that makes it £570k.

If we want him, we will have to offer him £350k in wages minimum. Because of his attitude and his helicopter mom, most big clubs wouldn't like to have someone as erratic. In contrast, we don't have the star power or the profile to attract world class players right now. He might be our best bet even if he's not all that he's made to be.

Even if we offer him £400k a week, we'd still be spending from the Ozil/Ramsey money. The rumored £40m would be in tact. But wages would be a massive issue.

Not advocating that we pay him £400k though. Just laying it down.

If we could get him to agree a deal around £250-300k a week, it'd be a stellar buy. He's 10x the player Xhaka is and we don't have the funds to go for better options.

Torreira
Guendouzi - Rabiot
Pepe - Lacazette - Auba

That's sick.
