In order for us to be good for top four, two other teams will need to be worse than us. Man Utd and Chelsea are not worse than us.

So if we can all agree on that point. Where do we go from there? Because I see a lot of excuses going on and people doing as much as possible to look anywhere but the manager. Fans made the same mistakes with Wenger and why he was never held accountable.

A total of 150m to fix what was the EPL's sixth placed squad? in what reality will that ever work?
Liverpool spent 62m on Alisson, 60m on Keita, 45m on Fabinho, 78m on VDV, 42m on Salah, 38m on Ox, 41m on Mane .... that's 365m to put things right.
If we want Emery to achieve the same then we need to be spending that sort of money this summer ... we all know that's not going to happen so we need patience, expecting miracles just leads to disappointment.

Judge him next season after another summer transfer window. If he's given 70 to 100 mil to invest and we aren't in top 4 next year and playing well, sack him.

I don't want us to be like Liverpool next season. I want top 4 minimum next season. If he can't get top 4 with two full summer transfer windows he's not good enough.

Spurs have the best defensive unit in the league and have done for 3 seasons, adding to a top keeper, a world class striker and CAM with a goal scorer in Alli. Comfortably better than us. They even have 2 left backs which would walk into any of the top 6 squads, only Robertson is proving better right now.
