Meh

The Bradford debacle happened more than half a decade ago and each and every player that featured in that game are no longer at Arsenal, including the manager.

Really don't get what is gained from it other than reducing risk of injury to a 'first teamer' even though this would be our second string team

Good job you are too young to remember george graham then
88 mins was an early one for him

I would be kidding if I said that we have looked anything like solid enough at the back this season
But I have been watching football long enough to have seen plenty of banana skins in the fa cup
Where we have looked in total control and ended on hanging on for a replay or even getting beat
Work to be done
There always was

Not just the FA Cup. Our midfield is dire. It has been since Cazorla's injuries. We simply don't dictate the tempo or control games as we used to.

I was thinking of Hereford York and Wrexham

Good run out for some players and an easy win.
Never easy away from home in the 3rd round... it would be great to have a cup run this year.

Very true we don’t have that man in the middle who can control a game, it’s lots of movement but no real control.

Those were some 500 years ago. I'm talking of more recent. :P

You were only allowed to make two subs back then though, and from a pool of five players. One of those would be a keeper, so only four outfield subs.

And the game was a lot more physical, so greater chance of injuries, so you’d have to save at least one sub to cater for that.

Changed in 88 to allow three subs, but still only from five. I guess it took a while for the culture of tactical subs to properly kick in.

Might be being thick here but why haven't we been allocated a ball number for the 4th round draw?
