Xhaka - several no look passes showed why it’s always best to look. Liability at times

Iwobi - involved in a few good moves but could have been so much more. Number of simple passes over hit was embarrassing

First 20 mins: showed lack of creativity. Simply could not beat a fairly amateur press. And looked nervous throughout team when hassled in any way. Need Ozil or Miki as an outlet between the lines. Xhaka tries at times but simply isn’t his game.

Ramsey: keeps coming off the bench and having a big moment, but not convinced. Does little else.

Well played. I don't even mind debating people with polar opposite view points but when there's posters dropping one liner WUM comments, something has to be said

Worst performance today? our pathetic fans ... 2-1 up and they boo the manager's decision that led to a 4-1 win ... Emery must wonder why he's come to a club which has so many entitled morons as fans ... deeply embarrassing

In the middle of a very busy schedule it's all about rotation and getting results with minimum effort ... excellently managed today

I agree! It was dead silent in the stadium and some comments on this board were outright embarassing. He explained the Lacazette sub and it made total sense:

"Tactically, we were thinking that in that moment (Jean Michael Seri's sub) we needed to change to get more balance. Above all else, we know Jean Michael Seri very well and we needed to get a player close to him, to not let him play with the ball very easily. When Aaron Ramsey came onto the pitch, he could do that and can also help us in attacking moments – and he scored”

I keep trying to explain this isn't FIFA 2018 or Football Manager but its falling on deaf ears, Emery wins 4-1 but apparently he doesn't know what he's doing, 20 games unbeaten, fluke apparently.

Is he perfect, no, what manager is? was Klopp in year 1, no.

There are breakdowns happening across GW recently and I'm really not sure why tbh? 2018 must of been hard on some.

I'm really hoping for 2019 people drop it and just back the manager until he's proven over a significant / reasonable period of time that he's inept.

Not throw fits because a player gets subbed in the 75th minute.

He should've done the Wenger thing.

I have made 30,000 substitutions and don't need to explain them

IT was ever thus
I remember New Year's Day 1983
Vladimer petrovic debut
Our first ever big foreign signing who terry Neil had been trying to sign since the end of the 1982 World Cup
25, 000 braved the swirling rain to see early goals from Sunderland and woodcock ( a cracking finish after a peach of a pass from our new Yugoslavian )
The other turgid 85 mins that saw Swansea pull one back midway through the second half
Seriously questioned the logic of not staying in the warm and watching it's a wonderful life
