Indefensible. Not only does it not make sense tactically but subbing both Ozil and Lacazette while we need a goal is adding extra unnecessary pressure on himself if it doesn't work out.

He should be sacked for that decision alone.

No. Calm the f**k down with the overreacting.

Im trying to think when a manager has made a more retarded decision and I really cant. How can he watch our team and not realize what laca brings to the team, he brings far more to the team if you want lone striker than auba, but play both against a defensive brighton and a goalkeeper. That leaves you 8 players to do what you want to make sure we are not defensively vulnerable. If he cant do that, he should be sacked asap. I honestly have want him gone. I dont get this notion you have to give every manager 2-3 years and 100 million before judging them. He is no wenger who has credit with us, he is new impress or move on

We want to sack our manager ? We actually have a population of fans who stood around watching that senile fool run amuck for years but u wanna sack a manger after 3 months . Ok. I guess I'm the f***ing idiot . Kroenke was the worst thing that happened to this once good team.

Ozil didn’t play that badly in the first half. If Emery have to sub one player off, it would be Lich.

Makes no sense making Ozil the scapegoat in this fixture.

This defense is going to be drugged and ravaged on the weekend. But it will be emerys fault that lich and kosh are the only players we have healthy and available.

Really hated the game-play of the team too... THE CONSTANT BACK-PASSING
Game is 90 minutes plus. If you calculated almost 25-30 minutes spent passing back over and over again all the way to Leno.

Cannot wait for opponent to open up and say come in please. bloody hell.
Also, DO NOT pass the ball when you ae in acres of space and just pass the ball standing up, it gets intercepted all the time.
Bring it in, run up couple of metres, it made the passes harder to be read.

Have confidence on yourself as footballer and run it in, also when someone do that, don't just stand there, move and make yourself an option for the pass, don't go stand next to the opponent player.

Brighton's Jurgen Locadia scored for the first time in his last 18 Premier League games, since scoring on his debut in the competition in February against Swansea City

Standard Arsenal. Now he won't score for another 6 months.

Totally embarrassing all round.

There was no urgency, no speed and no intensity to our game.

I get we have an injury crisis right now, but for f**k's sake, at least field a side that is sensible.

Starting a 34 year old Lichsteiner, who provided no width or overlapping runs at all, against a Brighton side with tricky, pacy wingers is a joke. He was exposed constantly, yet Emery kept him on and took Koscielny, who looked comfortable for most of the game, off? Why revert to a back 4 when Kolasinac is ineffective there? His skills as a wingback are curbed in that formation and given that we lacked width as it was, it just made us even less effective. We didn't stretch them at all.

Why was Torreira playing so high up the field when we needed him to be the midfield general? What was Guendouzi supposed to be? Why take Ozil off at half-time when we need creativity? Why take Lacazette off when we are searching for a goal with 30 minutes to go? Why was Xhaka collecting the ball so deep and trying to dictate play from a deep position when we know that's not what he's good at?

Games like today really make me realise just how long we have to go before being a top side again. We are MILES behind Liverpool, Spurs and City.

We didn't control the game at all and Brighton should have won.

I don't want to sound too reactionary. But my patience with Emery is beginning to wear thin.

This result is no better than a loss.

Great post.

We really missed Bellerin. He's becoming our best attacking outlet.

We were awful today. Second half was a non event for us.
I think that puts us 7 points begind Spurs?
Since we beat them in the PL, our form has been horrible.
I hope it convinces Emery to buy. We need significant investment.
January will be revealing in terms of whether or not the club is turning a corner.

Big decisions for the club to make on where we are going. With Kroenke at the helm, I fear nowhere.

Having said that I was laughing so much during that second half....brough in bunch of technically retarded players expected them to break down brighton. When AMN who is so bad is your hope, a guy who has maybe had 1 good game in his senior career then you know you are fecked. I am actually glad we didnt win, I would hate that spanish c*** to get away with a win after his management today. Sack him today

D-i-c-k Emery would be better than Wenger, never mind Unai Emery.
Thank you lucky stars we don't have to put up with L'Idiot anymore.
