Kept killing our flow with needless shots and was out of position lots because he’s slow to get back. Really didn’t enjoy his game.

Also the risky pass near the end which got cut out and almost led to another saints attack

Not even arsed about the third goal, prefer we lose and wake up to reality than get a lucky point but was hoping we’d sneak the win ffs.

Guendouzi look knackered the last 15 minutes but was otherwise solid for me. Ok performance, shit result, onto the next one.

Was never going to be easy. We are nowhere near the level needed to go in to any game thinking it'll be easy.

Oh well. Let's see how we react and kick on once more

His ball to Torreira was sick tbf but he really pissed me off late on when he was shooting and making stupid passes, plus this was the first time I saw how slow and lazy he is at getting back once the ball passes him by.

Would rather play Ramsey and that pains me to even say

matteo-torreira is a very vulnerable midfield.

iwobi and miki are very bad.
I prefer kolasinac rather than monreal, if we are going to play with 3 at the back

We needed to just outgun them which we could’ve easily done had we started a normal line up

Why are people so hung up over the f***ing line up all time. The lineup had nothing to do with players on the pitch performing so badly.

Is this the Emery version of the AKB? Sounds like a similar excuse Arsene had for ages

I’m not making excuses for Emery. His tactics and motivation were obviously not up to it today. Why else did the players perform so terribly?

How the f**k do Southampton score from 3 headers all coming from the crosser having far to much time and space to pick his pass? This is basic f***ing defending.

By constantly moaning about the lineup it seems like you’re giving the players a free pass.

Emery has done well for us but no doubt about it he got it all wrong today. I know he doesn’t play favorites and doesn’t care who you are, he starts who he thinks deserves to. BUT, against a team like Southampton, to play such a defensive lineup is really not necessary. With how much possession we were going to have how Ozil, Lacazette, and Ramsey are ALL on the bench makes NO sense.

Oh stfu, back with this again are you?

One loss in 23 games and your comparing that to Arsene Wenger, fk off with your daddy issues, your man fell and he did it over more than 5 years, not one loss in 23 games.
Of course people are and should back the manager, its his first season for gods sake.

Cos the line up was shit

I’m backing Emery but to ignore the line up and blame the players is bizarre

Its time to just accept that the defensive backups arent good enough to sustain a top 4 challenge. Emery has done one heck of a job up until this point though, huge credit should be given. No Laca and Ozil has been hurting us though, they must start vs Burnley!!!
