Jack Wilshere's latest ankle injury could be more serious than first feared after Manuel Pellegrini refused to put a timescale on the West Ham midfielder's return to action.

The injury-prone former Arsenal star only returned from a different ankle problem a fortnight ago when he came off the bench against Newcastle United, having been out for ten weeks, and bagged an assist in the 3-0 win where he got eight minutes of action.

But in training a couple of days later, the 26-year-old hurt his other ankle and was ruled out of the next two games,

He could have been the captain and legend, but the injuries did theirs. Nevertheless, for me, he remains one of the favorite players who dressed the Arsenal jersey.

I feel for the guy. Don't want to see injuries ruin a career.

You can't be "world class" whilst missing 50% of games .... what you seem to forget is Jack's injury problems all stem from his inability to move his feet correctly, adjust his weight correctly, and having the tackling ability of a ten year old .... that's no 'world class' that's a lack of basic skills ....

On the ball, unchallenged, with thinking time ... yup he's damn good ... in the real world he was, and still it seems is, an expensive ornament ... sorry but that's not even close to World Class
