Great 3pts considering the performance was plain average (better in the 2nd half).
Massive game against Spurs coming up.
Hopefully we give them their kit, that were wore today, back unwashed.

Lol, if he had of missed that sitter, he'd have had to retire.
We needed a striker before Welbeck got injured - now doubly so.

No, I don't think so.
It will be a tight game - probably scrappy.
Got to hope that Lacazette is back fit.

What? You don;t take him off because he can put the pull in the net from a yard out into an open goal?
I would hope plenty of strikers would be able to execute that technique effectively.

Seriously, he was really really poor today and it's not the first time.

And he plays like a winger playing a striker. Yes he has scored, he should be scoring more with the opportunities he has at his feet. And everything else he does is horrid.

3 good chances today other than the tap in and he sliced two and scuffed the other.
Just not top quality, especially when you consider he brings nothing more to the team.
If Lacazette is fit, Auba has to be a sub.

Happy with the win against a tough, attacking team with a strong home record. We've also matched the amount of away wins we had in the whole of last season already (4).

However, I was disappointed with a few situations.

1 - Starting with 3 at the back was naive when we know that our vulnerabilities are down the flanks defensively. This played into Bournemouth's hands and the likes of Brooks found himself in acres of space because no-one was tracking him. Likewise with their full-back Charlie Daniels who seemed to have an eternity to cross the ball into the box. To be fair, Emery switched to a back 4 and we looked 10x better when he made this tactical switch, but it was a risky decision to start with a back 3 in a game of this magnitude.

2 - Taking Torreira off with 11 minutes to go was a poor decision. I know it didn't cost us, but we lost that stability in midfield because Guendouzi has the propensity to wander around the pitch when he needs to be sitting deeper. Xhaka isn't reliable defensively, so we essentially ended the game playing with two central midfielders who were too far forward. Bournemouth managed to bypass us a few times in the middle, but thankfully we were able to snuff out the danger/their lack of quality in wide areas didn't end up costing us.

3 - Mustafi is not a reliable player when you're trying to manage a game. He makes far too many impulsive, rash decisions when we need calmness at the back. He almost cost us with an impulsive sliding tackle at the end which led to a free-kick that, thankfully, Bournemouth wasted. But it's not the first time his rush of blood to head have put us in unnecessarily precarious situations.

Overall though, we played very well and are deserved winners. Iwobi was brilliant, his directness and incisive passing caused their defence problems, Kolasinac played well in the second half, Holding was good, Bellerin was excellent, Leno was absolutely superb yet again. Mkhitaryan was important in pressing and winning the ball back in attacking positions, but his wastefulness is infuriating. Really needs to work on his final ball.

Good win. Onto the NLD now!

You know, it's a talent in itself to always get in good position to score tap-ins. Aubameyang has fantastic instinct. I feel it's nonsense to even consider playing him as a sub. He scored 98 goals in 144 games for Dortmund. So far, he scored 21 goals in 26 games for Arsenal. I understand that stats don't paint the whole picture sometimes but those numbers are superb. I agree he's not the complete player but he scores load of goals so i can perfectly live with his flaws.

Auba scored and Iwobi made a great pass to find Kola before he assisted. Mkhi was shit.
