If he would agree for 6 months why not, fantastic footballer, hardly going to harm us.

Bookies have just put them at 5000/1. ;)

The same odds Leicester were at the beginning of their title win.

With Brexit looming, FA has proposed to reduce the number of foreign players from 17 to 12. They've also proposed that the likes of Cesc, Pogba, Bellerín, etc. not be counted as homegrown players anymore.

Daft proposal. It would reduce the quality of football and Prem as a spectacle. Not to mention how English player tax would triple, whilst the footballing standard would plummet.

FA are missing a trick

You don't need quotas. Instead impose a rule that premier league clubs must invest x amount a year in developing British players.

Make the rules clearly laid out to prevent clubs wriggling out of it, and make the compulsory investment substantial. That way it will be in the club's best interest to do a good job of developing players, seeing as they are forced to spend the money regardless

if the fa try to impose that rule then im in favour of a european super league

english football would die if we reduced the foreign player limit, a hugely nonsensical proposal conjured up by a bunch of complete and utter f***ing morons

It might be better for the English football team long term, obviously from a selfish point of view you want the whole cake though.

Also would level the playing field a bit so it's not all bad but the football quality would suffer

A lot of the problem, in my opinion, is that young English players are happy to sit in the reserves doing nothing because they are on fat wages. At Arsenal we have had young players with just a handful of first team games that are on £25k a week.

But it still doesn't mean they are good enough.

Forcing clubs to play players who are inferior to what they could otherwise afford to play is wrong, IMO.
