Emery must wonder at times what goes through Ramsey's head on the pitch.

Coaches that like a disciplined team and disciplined players will find Ramsey very frustrating to coach IMO.

Mkhi and iwobi disappointed me today especially, but overall that was a half second late, half a yard wide performance.

Bit disappointing we didn't make more here, this probably was the least impressive game in the last 10 for me.

Having said that, they literally weren't planning on committing more than 2 players to our third for the whole game. They even brought on a target man and then played back to goal from a corner ffs.

Ahh well, onwards and upwards.

Yeah you could understand a casual approach from those saving themselves for the weekend Wolves game but as I said in the beginning I expect more fire from the 2nd string.

Guendouzi was good, Sokratis great but Mkhi should of been more direct, Iwobi at least tried to be more incisive.

Kolasnic looked decent.

All in all a very nothing game ............ however 15 games unbeaten? that'll do but we need to start winning games again not drawing.

"must win" ... no, not really as there is nothing tangible to point to if there is a draw..

only for psyche reasons...

apparently Sporting was deterimedn not to concede as a draw was IMPORTANT for them...

of course, we wish to see mofe form the 2nd tier but....shrug...

( havent watched. work)

One of those games where no one was above a 7 or lower than a 6.

No one stood out to be excellent or shit.

Blimey that was dull ... 180 minutes and Sporting had zero shots on target ... anyone know what the crowd was (I know we will claim 50k) but what was it really, looked pretty patchy on the stream ....

That said job done, looks like there will be some quality teams in the last 32 ....

We just need a proper winger. Dunno if Nelson is that guy down the road but in the winter if we can get a proper wideman, it will do wonders. Alot of if not most of our offense is pressure and creating space with our fullbacks overlapping out wide. Iwobi isn't really a winger same with mhki , ozil or auba. I hear Costa isn't getting much playing time maybe worth a punt.
