No chance !! Being a key part of 2 title winning sides, scoring double digits in both of those seasons AND scoring in the League Cup final in the year we did the domestic "cup" double AND being joint 12th top scorer in the Cup Winner's Cup scoring 3 goals - one less than both Kevin Campbell and Ian Wright !!!

That wouldn't help improve his English.

The team is getting better with every game. The team appears fitter and more energetic. People jumped the gun and said Emery did not have a clear distinctive style but its getting apparent with every game we play that he is not only producing results but is also doing so with Swagger.

I really wanna see how he does with our first team back four. Tonight the only first team defender was Bellerin who's the weakest defensively.

With Bellerin--Sokratis--Koscielny--Monreal I think we might have a good enough defence to challenge

I'm very, very happy with what I've seen so far. I'm under no illusions that we're not the best team in the premier league, but for a work in progress, I am very encouraged.

I'm actually enjoying watching us play, and I don't have that feeling of dread weighing me down all game now.

10 wins, best start in 5 years and he's only just walked through the door.

Not only has he got us adapting when needed, he makes winning devastating subs, drills the team and has them ready to fight.

Everything I wanted., we'll lose eventually ............ but this is a team playing for the badge worth looking forward to watching again and for that I am grateful.

Let's see, a loss against Liverpool and any average result to follow that and opinions will quickly change...we're the most fickle bunch of fans I swear.

Happy enough, still disagree about a distinctive style (@ AF) other than this lure them in 1st half - pump em 2nd half thing. Torreira makes a big difference but still work to be done at the back, like Pud says maybe the returning players will give us a decent back line.

At least it seems the bad luck of the last 5 years is all coming back in one big good karma shot this season, amount of chances the other teams are missing is f***ing hilarious to watch.

I don't think we have any first choice XI. Its a squad thing now. Even auba and ozil are being rotated. I bet ozil is on the bench on thursday. Keeping people fresh by rotating properly and the results just keep on coming!
