He had a massive dip though looked like he could be an ATG at one point, didn't that coincide with him taking captaincy, root has massively dipped since he got captaincy as well

Funny thing is, this could and probably should be the greatest year in English cricket ever

They are favourites for the world cup and a home Ashes series which they haven't lost since 2001 so favourites for that as well to regain the Ashes

But its been a shit show so far against the weakest Cricket nation

I don't count pub sides like Ireland and Bangers
