meh we have sh1t defense. we dont have one cb you can say is very good. Kos is finished at the highest level with his latest injury. Holding is garbage and mustafi is retarded. The greek is past it as well

you have to keep in mind the 2 new defenders we bought were backups in their teams.....not starters. Liverpool got fed up with conceding so much that they broke the world record for a CB and goalkeeper. We need to invest

Think it's a bit early to start throwing the toys out the pram just yet gooney. It's their first competitive game under Emery.

Shape of the team looks interesting. Defensively without the ball it's very compact, with the inside forwards tucking inside rather than sitting in front of the fullbacks.

No real sign of the high press yet, but it's early pre-season. Don't expect to see that until pre-season is in full swing.

Im not talking about this game. I have been super consistent about Holding and Chambers. Specially Holding. I know the 2 new defenders we bought are not playing. But you cant deny neither was starter for their team. But most worrying for me is last season we had no wide player being able to be dangerous and we still dont have a wide man. It means we will play as usual everything through the middle and good teams will just pick us off. We had 4 weakness last season. One has been addressed.

Keeper - yes
Defense - no
Central midfield - Maybe
Width - no

What formation are we playing?

Funny, we've been using width to great effect during that first half. Should have at least two goals tbh. Laca and Nelson (coming in from wide).

4-1-2-2-1 but the shape is completely different with and without the ball.
