Same here with MAGAts and Y'all Qaeda. Over the past two years, I've learned that it's not worth arguing with absolute idiots who refuse to listen to facts; it's up to the other 60-70% to drag them into the future.

But damn, there's a nonzero chance Boris f***ing Johnson could be your next PM. Godspeed, my fellow fucked-up-right-now allies.

If there's an election we'll have a choice between Corbyn & Abbot, or Johnson & Gove.

Whoopee. How utterly fabulous.

At this point we need rid of them and yes I'd give Corbyn a chance

From my understanding, he's an actual socialist (anti private ownership and free market) and not a social democrat. If he wins, and enforces socialist policy, you're actually f***ked. My hope is that he doesn't win and if he does, which wouldn't surprise me at all, i at least hope the rest of the Labour party has more sensible policy that has "made it's peace" with capitalism or else they'll undeniably ruin the country completely.

Yes he's a real socialist but would have to water it down a bit in order to satisfy his MPs, most of whom are still Blair / Brown era centre left

I don't know about that.

He has already said he will look to raise corporation tax to 26%, and levy even higher taxes on banks and other financial institutions. I'd love to see things like this put into practice, but sadly unless it's applied globally, they'll just leave our shores for somewhere that doesn't tax them so much. And that is much easier to do in today's world of easy travel and communications.

In regard to these policies he has admitted that this may happen, and says it might take the rest of he world a while to catch up with his ideas. The man is completely deluded.

He'd not manage to put corp tax up to 26pc but yes he does want to levy higher taxes on big business and frankly, good

The Right don't get to lecture anybody about business in the UK anymore. Look at the fuckin state we're in politically, with businesses and their staff not knowing what's going on. The likes of Johnson, Davies, May and co who are supposed, the Right would have us believe, to be the people we need running the gaff and they're all f***ing clowns

It all leads back to the Tories. Fuckem

Jeremy isn't my first choice but id give him a chance

He absolutely cannot do any worse than the shower of shit we have witnessed this past few decades.

I mean seriously, can any conservative explain the last major events that have occurred leading up to and since brexit in a positive light as I'm struggling to see how we will benefit at all with this fuckery when using actual facts...

The problem is ........... both parties are a disaster.

I just can't trust Labour with the nations money, 100% interest free mortgages leading to a Housing crisis and property bubble the last time they were in charge, spent way too much as well.

The Conservatives handling of Brexit has also been pretty unforgivable.

Our democracy is in a state right now ............. but I suppose you can still look at America and breathe a sigh of relief?

Problem with this 'small world' thinking is that in the 'real world' it's a non starter .... business now competes at a global level you can't go back to the 1950's however much you may want to ....

Increase Corporation tax to 26% what happens?

Any Company that can move it's operation to a lower tax jurisdiction will, this is not guesswork it's what already happens, just look at where all the largest companies have corporate headquarters ... Ireland being a great example (12.5% CT)

and what about companies that can't move? so all UK based manufacturers and SEO's?

Well two things -

- If they are competing with companies paying say 16% Corporation tax, they will be at a 10% disadvantage ... that's unsustainable ....
- If they have a 'niche' UK business then they will just pass that 10% increase onto the consumer ....

In either event their business will be less viable and the risk is that many will downsize or fail .... that's not 'fantasy' it's the reality in the world we live in today. When countries around the world are battling for business by reducing corporation tax ... the US just cut their's by 18% ... increasing the UK's would be a massive mistake .....

Jeremy may be a 'great guy' but turning the country into a Socialist welfare state would be crippling .... see Venezuela where Hugo Chavez started off as 'the man of the people' how is that working out? .....

But I'm quite sure I just made it clear that JC wouldn't actually achieve 26pc corp tax

I'm very sure I said that

But you took that one issue and ran with it

It's official Labour party policy, so how can you say 'he won't achieve it' ... are you saying all party policy is fake? or is it just this one?

Frankly I don't believe or trust any of them, however the one most likely to do the more crazy things he comes out with is JC, no one can deny he's a very principled man ... that might play well to the left, but if it were ever to happen it would send the UK into meltdown ....

No denying that but I would suggest looking at how sh*t the opposition is. Think Michael Foot level of Opposition, completely unelectable.
