The better team won, i don't agree with Adams this time.
Kane and Alli were both absymal though.

Couldn't care less about who we faced. That's not in our control.
We faced teams that topped groups containing Germany and Argentina. Seeen also knocked Italy out in the play offs and finished ahead of Holland and beat France in the qualifiers. Hardly shit.

Based on who they played and won/lost to they did exactly what I expected them to do, it just so happens the freak of nature that made all of the big boys crash out of the tournament early allowed England to get to the semi final.
But as already said, England beat some shit teams. I think there are 5 tiers of tournament international football:
Tier 1 - Spain, Germany, Brazil etc
Tier 2 - France, Netherlands, Italy etc
Tier 3 - England, Croatia, Sweden etc
Tier 4 - Bulgaria, Nigeria, S Korea etc
Tier 5 - Panama, Cyprus, Finland etc
England will almost always lose to tier 1 and 2 teams. They will be 50/50 against other tier 3 teams. They will almost always beat tier 4 and 5 teams. The England team are average, they like to think they can hang with the big boys but they can't. The cheek of the commentator yesterday, "England have proved they can mix it with anyone in the world now" You absolute cock !
The big boys will have 2 or 3 talismanic players, some have 3 or 4. England had Harry Kane, stop Harry Kane and England flop. England were a set piece team and that ultimately was their undoing. Delle Alli proved just how shit he is, Sterling created next to nothing - albeit he was England's most threatening player, Lingard apart from his goal did nothing.

Ok then.
Semi final suggests we were pretty good. Again couldn't care less about who we faced. We didn't hand pick these teams to face to reach the semi final. They were there on merit. Just like us.
