Anyone heard of this guy?

Sky Sports -

Arsenal are in talks with Lorient over the signing of France midfielder Matteo Guendouzi, Sky Sports News understands.

Sources say the Gunners are closing in on the 19-year-old, who has played for France at U20 level and was linked with north London rivals Tottenham during the January transfer window.

Guendouzi came through Paris Saint-Germain's academy before switching to Lorient in 2014. He broke into the Lorient team during the 2016/17 season, making nine appearances as they were relegated from Ligue 1.

Last player we bought from Lorient was a shambles

Steer clear

Rather get someone from Leyton Orient

Mattéo Guendouzi Olié (born 14 April 1999) is the greatest ever footballer widely considered as football's messiah. Some may even consider him to be in the same bracket of high-calibre modern footballing legends such as Lor Bendtner and Danny Welbeast. He played a monumental part of the 'greatest ever midfield trio' with Lucas Torreirun with the ball till he dies and the Welsh Rambo. He was named in Pele's Top 100 players as his favourite quoting ' Guendouzi is by far the best footballer evr to touch a ball.I recognise him as the true GOAT.'

been looking at him and he looks like he plays the same role as Lucas Torriera, a tenacious high work rate tackler.

A: We were never in for nzonzi

B: IF we were, a 19 year old prospect wouldn't be the one to stand in his way.

We have held talks with N'Zonzi and its still ongoing, plus he was at the emirates last season watching us play, Wenger wanted him also.

We might not get him, but we have certainly been in for him multiple times, and he is the player we need for stability in our midfield, alongside Torriera because Torreira is a mobile player and a chaser, we need a huge DLP alongside him like Matic and Kante combo.

No a 19 year old will nto stand in his way, but hes a starter for his club, hes not gonna sit in our reserves, we also cant juggle 7 or 8 midfielders.

It also depends what we pay for this kid.

No solid sources at all for the nzonzi thing. On the contrary, Ornstein said Torreira was our last first team addition.

19? He won't be anywhere near the first team, will he? Just sign him just like we signed other youth prospects.

Exactly. No one believes ornstein. Or they shouldn't considering the shockers he's had

Nzonzi is coming home

I think that was the case before N'Zonzi wacked in the transfer request.
