We can beat City at home and an away draw against Chelsea isn't too difficult as Chelsea are in a fix themselves.

We have Spurs and ManU back-to-back in December and end the year with Liverpool away. Second half of the season, we only need to travel to Etihad and the Lane. Spurs and ManU back-to-back again in March.

As EliteKiller already mentioned, the final 8 games are all winnable. It's ManU-esque when they used to storm to the title under SAF beating these kinds of teams.

We need to be careful in December and hope we can get 2 points in the first two games.

The draw has been good to us.

Now, let's lose to everyone else in the top-4 and win the remaining games. That accounts to 90 points. Will be good enough for the title next season. And we'll beat City in the opener either way. 31 wins, 0 draws, 7 losses. 93 points, title in the bag. :1970_two_smileys_drinking_beer_together.gif:

Screw it going for 2 wins. They'll expect the same old Arsenal and be surprised when we turn it up. 3-0 to us v City and 2-0 to us v Chelsea.

this is actually good our most likely starting 11 will have most of the players nice and rested since they ain't going to the world cup, whereas city will be missing a good 70-80% of theirs due to it. We could be playing their reverse team.

plastics are in shambles anyway, should not be hard.

6 points it is,.

I'm hoping we'll be eager to impress the manager and make these two tough fought games for City and Chelsea.

One loss and a draw is relatively acceptable if you look at it season wide, two losses will not be good, excuses be damned.

Emery has nothing to do but drill the team so I believe we should be ready to at least mount an effort regardless.

In life you don't get gifted easy routes all the time, in fact if your prepared for the tougher roads then that's what winners are made out of.

The fact we always cry when we're given a tougher route just shows why we'll never be champions, I'm hoping Emery can change that mentality at the club.

We should be chomping at the bit for the challenge not cowering from it.

Was going to say this, if there is a silver lining in any of it, that's it. They could be tired.

We really don't know what kind of team we'll have or how we'll play under Emery. We could be worse, or 5 times better. Time will tell.

I saw the fixtures, specifically the first two and instantly thought "shit, we're f***ked". But then thought, hey we could possibly win both, who knows. :dontknow:
