As far as talented youngsters goes him along with Reiss do give me hope that the academy can still produce talent.

I've always been impressed by his ability to do the simple stuff well and his composure when he does it. Fact of the matter is we have similar senior players that offer the team less.

I'm excited to see how he develops because as I've previously stated this boys future is through the middle. Whether he goes b2b or transitions into a DM who knows but I have high hopes for him.

If Paul Pogba acknowledged how good this kid is in one game it says a lot.

Hopefully he improves but we are the only club that coo's over such players, do you see City or Chelsea making such a fuss over youth players not good enough to hold down a position let alone a place in the team?

He was decent at RB but poor in midfield, yet he's supposed to be a midfielder, not sure why that equates to excitement over him signing?

Again, hope he improves and adds value to the team.

Foden looks decent to be fair.

Thing is though, there were always 2 types of Arsenal youngster. The "Vela, Merida, Diaby" type that looked to have fantastic ability and the "Hoyte, Eastmond, Gilbert" type, a bit meh.

AMN is in the second group for me at the moment.

You want a 2nd string youth to be 1st choice?

Deary me, and we wonder why we don't win anything.

From Vieira to AMN ......... yes, I see the problem.

I invoke the difference between a quality starting senior and a youth who can't even hold a position, let alone a starting spot.

If we want change in CM then we need to go and buy it.

Tbf once Torriea comes in, it'll likely be Torriea, Xhaka and Ramsey formation dependent so Torriea will be that senior.

AMN needs to be benched until its either an easy game or he skills up to be 1st choice.

I think the likes of AMN should go on loan and learn their trade, can't be getting that experience in our first team. Unless they show talent like RVP and Cesc, they should be loaned out first, get the regular game time they need.

AMN is way smoother on the ball than xhaka who craps his pants repeatedly and coughs it up..

I have said repeatedly that I like the kid and thinks he can develop into a good player. This is very unfortunate news especially considering the play it happened on.....
Like I said in the Matchday Thread , he literally ran himself into the ground stopping Walker overlap smh tough luck

Can't help but wonder whether Niles will remain an utility player for the rest of his career or if he will develop and refine key certain aspects of his game which would help him establish a permanent position/role.

Ainsley's main traits are his natural equanimity, good basic technique and his burst. That aside, because of his lack of experience, he is still very raw with his passing, defending, concentration and general output in the final third.

Reckon he'd benefit greatly from a loan to a mid table Pro League side. Niles has a good chance of becoming a regular for at least 5-6 teams. Plus he wouldn't have to learn any new languages, which would allow him to solely focus on his football.

What is certain is that it has come to a stage where he needs to start accumulating 30+ games a season in order not to stagnate.
