Who gives a shit if Wilsh doesn't go the WC? He's a new father, let him spend some time with his kid FFS.

Not to mention the man is made of glass, why should Arsenal fans want him to risk getting yet another season-long injury in a nothing game against Panama or some shit?

As usual there is a world of rose tinted glasses on here. Wilshere of this season has offered very little, its hardly a loss to the England team. He is neither creative or defensive and there are players with more ability than him in both skill sets.

What I think Jack offers is the ability to keep the ball which at the slower pace of international football is an important aspect. For that reason alone I would put his name forward. But like I say Jack has been nothing special so should not be surprised he isn't going.

No one is better than jack in terms of transitioning defence to attack, he might not be great definsevely or have great end product but his transitional play is better than anyone in England when fit on form.

Or sqaud is to poor not to put him in the team, Southgate is a relagation manager adopting a relegation mindset.

He's neither fully fit or in good form ... Southgate will transition using fullbacks just as City, Liverpool, and Spurs do now .... to play that system you need your two central midfield players to defend ... they have to cover when fullbacks go forward ... this is by far the weakest part of Jack's game (and Xhaka's as well) it's a large part of why we've leaked goals all season ...

So why would Southgate pick a player who can't play in the style the England team will adopt?

Dier, Henderson, Delph may have less 'talent' than Jack ... but they will all be far better playing the CM role that Southgate will use ....

In the days of attacking fullbacks a midfield player who neither defends or attacks is no longer a viable position ... for England or Arsenal ... yet we've got feckin' two of them ....

Obviously feels very hard done. I don't get it, it's basically going a 3 week holiday with the English lads, it's not like they're are getting anywhere close to the final.

Hopefully one of the others get injures and Southgate calls him up so Jack can tell him to fuk off

Wilshere of old that picked up the ball deep in midfield and dropped a shoulder bursting past opposition midfielders then laying the ball to an AM or Forward was good Jack Wilshere. But I always thought his skills were better used receiving the ball in more advanced positions so when he beat a player he was in a position that could actually inflict damage near goal. A good manager would find a way to play Wilshere.

I cannot knock his ability, nobody should, its immense, we just don't see him use it enough.

Arsenal's out-of-contract English midfielder Jack Wilshere, 26, could be in line for a move to Paris St-Germain. (L'Equipe)

Hope this happens

Can see it now

Wilshere on the ball....Neymar makes a move looking for the pass, Cavani makes another run to give Neymar space or to give Jack another option, Jack looks up, sees the runs, pulls his foot back and makes the pass............sideways

Neymar and Cavani ask for a transfer

You must work for the Man United scouting team with that expert knowledge.
