Wonder what that experience would be like.

Probably stick them in an Arsenal Cycle for a decade or 2,

that would kill the weak spirited, ( after a few embarrassing defeats some leave to support Bandwagon FC etc... )

But were ARSENAL FANS remember

We'll pay eye-watering ticket prices to watch our team get raped 5-1 or 3-0 in a first leg

Then still come to full out a stadium for a return volley of 5-1 & or 3-0... .. .... ..

& STILL we support Arsenal!, thats dedication for ya,

But now we can look back on the truly EXCEPTIONAL , INVINCIBLE times ONLY

& LOOK FOWARD, as is the Arsenal way, to the future. :arsenal3:

(NB: Now realise thats the sigil of our House - GO FOWARD !!! )

Thing is if when the financial system collapses in the next year or so those teams will be f***ked while we will be fine.

Thats one thing i do heavily respect Wenger for is how we have no outstanding debt anymore from the stadium while chelsea are still playing transfer fees from 5 years agi since they loan everything to Roman.

He is deserving of having the stadium named after him. A statue alongside Herbert chapman outside the ground is the least our GOAT manager deserves

I wouldn't name a Subbuteo stadium after him.

Sims you made me laugh anyway!! :rofll: :rofll:

Ryan Giggs said they were the best Arsenal side he ever played.

To young to compare but they lost 6 games and got 78 points, not particularly high we got more points than that and finished 4th before

I can remember being on an fa coaching course in 98 when we played Everton. Was driving home listening on the radio, Adams was getting ready to lift the trophy and I quickly pulled over near a pub and ran in pretty much the moment he lifted it. I had my arsenal shirt on and the whole pub was going mad. Was awesome!

Think 01/02 is the closest to the Invincibles imo

Scored in every single game, only team to do so in a league season

One thing I can never decide on is which CM pairing I prefer.

Petit-Vieira or Gilberto-Vieira

I have a similar dilemma with Pires vs Overmars, I always rated Marc higher but most people I talk to disagree.
