So does Kos with defending. He doesn't get it. Neither do we.

If GW was Arsenal, I'd be Kos.

That was painful. Kos is done. The whole defense needs an overhaul.

I think he needs to hang his boots up now.

Tonight has been coming for over 2 years.

Im surprised it took this long. He did very well.

I remember making a post about him and Metesacker a few years back saying how Koscielny can only play a game a week because of his achilles.

Such a shame. I think he's done here now but it's such a shit way to go out. Sums up our season.

Been a great servant :(

Literally ended his career by being overplayed, all because the guy in charge didn't want to splash out on quality.

This is a sad farewell.

Wouldn't say his career is necessarily over

I should have been clearer. He's in the twilight of his career, and this injury is likely to have finished Kos playing at the top level.

He wasn't playing at the top level

He was playing in the Europa League

Yep, he died for our sins (of not spending).

I remember when Koscielny donated money to save his local accordion factory, top man all 'round.

Seems like a nice chap indeed.

Just football isn't his thing.

A shame.

Wish him well in his future endeavours.

Shame that his career has faded out through injury .... gives 100% but the body can't do what the brain wants .... should have been replaced in 2016 but we were to tight to spend the money on quality defenders (see City) and ended up with dross ....

Are there any decent CBs around these days?

I mean an average joe like the dutch lesbian is going at £70m+ ffs

I don't play football manager anymore so my scouting network which had served me so well in the 90s and early 00s is long gone
