He made three substitutions last night where Vela could've come on and held on to the ball, maybe even created or scored that killer 5th goal. He's quick, skillful, confident and one of the most naturally calm finishers I've seen for a long time, if Arsene's not careful he could be another one that got away!
I would be gutted if we lost Vela!

I'm thinking the same..... at 4-2, Spurs heads were down, and the last thing they need to see is a Mexican hotshot kid coming on....

Inchpractice wrote:It's always easy to say that he should've come on because he's an exciting player but he's still being eased in to the Prem so he might not have had an impact at all.
Plus we needed defensive players to hold on to our lead so I agree with bringing on Eboue and Song even though it didn't work this time.

I hope you're right!Inchpractice wrote:We aint going to lose Vela don't worry.
He's waited 2 years to actually pull on the shirt so he's not about to trounce out the building if he doesn't get enough starts.
He's still very young so he understands his place in the queue.
I'm sorry mate but I disagree, at 4-2 we looked comfortable until he made changes after that we just looked vulnerable!Inchpractice wrote:It's always easy to say that he should've come on because he's an exciting player but he's still being eased in to the Prem so he might not have had an impact at all.
