Watched MOTD

Good goal from Mkhi

Xhaka is awful

Nothing Ospina can do about either goal

On we go

Wenger didn't deserve any luck yesterday. He has taken us to this level, and thus whatever happens from here on in will be down to his mismanagement of the club.

8 years progressing
6 years stagnating
8 years regressing.

Goodbye.

Are we going for the title?

No, we're resting players for a Europa League match.

How many times have we won the EL?

How many times did we go for the title in the 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s?

This modern-day Arsenal is regular service. Ask Starman.

I prefer us to shoot for the stars, not the gutter

Imagine judging something you love against the worst it's ever been, shrugging and going "meh, whatever"

That's what you're doing

Finger pointing won't suggest that Arsenal are some big time European elite, or even the most successful English club.

Study our history. We've always been run by misers or at least people who cared for finances more than on-field success.

We've been more successful in the last three decades than we have ever been in our history.

Aiming for the stars is a goal. A realistic analysis is exactly that - reality.

Seriously I'm tired of repeating myself on this forum.

Study our history? Do me a favour

Study David Danskin, and his support for the club throughout his life, even after he'd been turned down for a place on the board. Mr Danskin walked away from the club and became "just a fan" despite starting the club!!!

Why? To help it to grow, and achieve. He accepted there were better men to lead the club.

He listened to us win the FA cup for the first time on the radio. From his hospital bed. He was too ill to come to the match. His health had been destroyed by injuries caused by playing football apparently

Shoot for the stars because of our history, not inspite of it.

Soz for the late reply.

You're talking about Wenger, I'm talking about Arsenal.

Arsenal have a history of this whole self-sustainability, which is what they mean by values when talking about Arsenal.

We were more successful before Liverpool. We were more successful before ManU. But we never experienced the sort of successes those two clubs did in a span of two decades. Our success has been sporadic and spread across decades.

I find it hilarious when fans act like Arsenal have had sustained success like 'Pool or ManU, or if we even have European pedigree rivaling them.

I do believe we must shoot for the stars, yes. I just don't think we must forget to keep our feet grounded when doing so.

There is a difference between want and what is though.

You'd know better than most that our board has always been on the conservative side.

I can't see what's so difficult to comprehend in what I'm saying tbh. :dontknow:
