And you got a free flag out of it. Us in the Prawn Circle got nothing except a free programme (After one had already bought one outside. )

Utterly pathetic .... it wasn't as if anyone was bad, they were all just meh .... it wasn't as if our tactics were bad, they were just never going to win the game ....

The true state of the club could be seen in our end which come the 70th minute was three quarters empty .... just like our club .....

Top six? ..... there's now a top five .... and we're no longer part of it .....

Mertesacker against City? What's the point?

And now you see why I said we should have started with Mertesacker he's and intelligent defender unlike Mustafi, Mertescaker would never allow that first goal and with his leadership and organisation and Cech/Elneny instead of Ospina/Xhaka we could have given city a decent game at least.

We are going in a final (as meaningless as it may be) against the best team in the league that is miles ahead of the second spot and we are 6th!!!

Seriously, what else did you folks expect?

We are just not good of a team. We don't have the talent level and are poorly managed.

This is the outcome what a neutral fan would expect.

There is nothing meaningless about the league cup

Why is that? Bit of a stupid comment. No one in the team can be arsed because none of them respect Wenger and clearly want him gone.

That should never be a free pass
Players should be playing for their own personal pride

Chelsea lost 4-2 at home to Bradford in 2015 after being 2 nil up
Still beat Spurs in the league cup final
Yesterday bore no relation to Thursday and everything with a manager who can not set a team up properly

No guts, no leadership and, increasingly, no great talent. Welcome to the Arsenal of today.

The no talent problem has been developing gradually for years. But the no guts and no leadership problem has been around pretty much since the core of the Invincibles finally disbanded in the mid to late 2000’s.

Jack is probably the only one with any evident fire in his belly, but that’s not enough.

With very few exceptions, this squad needs tearing down and rebuilding almost from scratch.

bore no relation ?

he set up a team on thursday and lost ....

set up a team on sunday and lost ..

and these occurances are not related ?

I think if we had thrashed Ostersund 6-0 instead of crapping our pants and losing .we may have had some momentum for Sunday

Starman does have a worrying knack of thinking past performances don't have an effect.

I remember earlier this season we played shit and won, I said we got away with it but against a better side we'd be destroyed. He said win is all that matters.

We played the same way v a better side and got our asses handed to us. I pointed it out. Starman disappeared but as you can see, hes still doing it

Maybe the bore no relation was a poor choice of phrase
And I wouldn't trust Wenger to set up a direct debit
I have seen us turn in some good performances under Wenger then start the next game with no urgency
That was what I meant
I didn't believe the defeat to ostersunds meant defeat to city was inevitable
Unfortunately that trust was misplaced
The manager and team were an utter disgrace on Sunday
Weak feeble gutless
A mirror image of what Wenger has become
