Players may be registered with a maximum of three clubs during
one season. During this period, the player is only eligible to play
official matches for two clubs
. As an exception to this rule, a player
moving between two clubs belonging to associations with overlapping
seasons

He was on the bench against Chelsea, I think this counts as a game

He's registered but he didn't play though, he should be fine.

"I like to keep players with the club rather than loan them out if I think they are close to the first squad" ... difference is at Spuds they can learn from quality defenders in a side that has conceded 30% less goals than us for the last two years ... throwing kids in the deep end with feck all support? see this year's FA Cup game to see how that works out .....

Wonger is clueless .... if he wanted a first team defender he should have bought one (Evans) if he wanted a development prospect to go on loan then that's what he got .... to now try and change the goal posts? ... the poor lads fecked before he even kicks a ball ... either that or at 20, with no top level experience, he'll prove to be a world-beating CD .... that's one hell of a stretch .... more likely as with Holding the EPL will eat him alive and his confidence will be crushed .....we've got a whole squad of those already .....

Spurs have conceded 99 goals in 109 games in the last 2 years
We have conceded 119 goals in 113 games in the last 2 years
We have conceded 15 percent more goals than Spurs not 30

He looked good, made one brilliant run forward from his position as well. Looked very comfortable on the ball

Oh, and for Tony_Adams, was taller and stronger than any player on the pitch, pretty pacy too :rofll:

Edit: Googled his height cause I thought he was tall, 6 foot 3, 192 cm

Think this guy could be the real deal. Absolute unit with pretty decent pace as well. Very strong in the air too.

Where did you get those numbers? you can only compare like-with-like .... using FA Cup / League Cup / CL where we don't play the same opposition? that's just not a reasonable comparison .... so compare EPL versus EPL where we play the same opposition ....

2016/7

Tottenham Hotspur Goals conceded 26
Arsenal Goals conceded 44

2017/8 (so far)

Tottenham Hotspur Goals conceded 21
Arsenal Goals conceded 30

So last two seasons Spuds have conceded 47 EPL goals we've conceded 74 .... was being generous at 30% it's more like 57% .....

This is our problem .... a team that concedes over 40 EPL goals a season HAS NEVER won the EPL .... if we don't fix this we won't be winning the league anytime soon regardless of how many Ozil, Sanchez, Aubameyang or Lacazettes we sign .....

Any link you could share? I'm looking for stuff but can't find him on YouTube.

Yes
I did take all matches into account not just league games and because you said 2 years
I took it from jan 13th 2018 back 2 years rather than seasons
League games alone that is
Both played 78
Spurs conceded 78
Arsenal conceded 90
That means that we conceded 15 per cent goals more than Spurs
Taking into account 16/17 and this current season it is 45 per cent
You will find no argument from me that over the last 10 years keeping the ball out of our net has been the greatest bar to success at the club but I have a natural reluctance to give Spurs succour in any way shape or form

Conceding goals is always our problem, scoring goals rarely is. Defences win titles.
