Are we still wasting our time signing unknown nobodies who never make it close to the first team? You'd think by now we'd have learnt our lesson after years of wasting money and time on players like this and getting nowhere, seemingly not.

Yes, yes we are.

Its a gamble just in case we find the next Ronaldo and don't have to spend any real money.

Yeah we’re gonna bring in Mislintat for him to provide a scout report on f***ing Pierre Emerick aubameyang

These are the types of signings we should be doing, glad to see his influence has started already

Gut's telling me he's going to be an outstanding defender. If he signs for us, then I'll be looking forward to seeing how he develops

Pretty much this. Our only hope is signing the gems of the future.

Hopefully he scouts well for us, and doesn't sign us flops like Pulisic though

Don't think he starts with us until February.

How are these the type of signings we should be making? It's the same signings we've been making for the last 10 years, most of which have flopped and either never played for the first team or been awful when they have.

Not impressed, this is a typical Wenger signing, an unknown kid from a nothing club, I reckon this guy will go the same way as all the others, the rubbish heap, rather than waste a couple million on him we should be putting that towards the top quality talent we're so against signing because they cost too much.

Sanellhi starts in Feb, Mislentat started in December. He has a large amount of sources in greece, he scouted this bloke at dortmund before bringing him here

Expect more of the same signings for lowish fees, if a couple work out then it’s great

New scouts and coach doing their job. Good stuff. Hopefully run out wenger and his old dusty crew out of here.

How do you kow he scouted him for Dortmund? If he did indeed scout the guy for Dortmund and they didn't sign him, they clearly didn't think he was all that.

Anyway my point being is we need to spend money on players read to slot into the first team now, the time for the youth project is gone, especially if we have to pay 2 odd million for these kids, we tried we failed, now it's time to build a decent 1st team, once we have that we can worry about the youth team.

I don't for one minute believe we can do both either, with all our penny pinching these few million could be the difference between signing someone and not signing them.

Allegedly, this looks like a typical Wenger signing to me, the type of signing he's been making for over a decade, unknown kids, we pay a relative high price for who never come to anything.
