If we want to take a defender from West Bromich, I would rather take Hegazi

Imagine getting into a "battle" for Jonny Evans.

We’ve made an inquiry according to Sky’s Rob Dorsett:

Ramsdale
(Turner/Hein)
White Saliba Gabriel Zinchenko
(Tomiyasu/Niles) (Timber/Holding) (Trusty/Kiwior) (Tierney/Tavares)
Odegaard(c) —- Rice
(Xhaka/Lokonga) —- (Partey/Elneny)
Havertz
(Jorginho/Vieira)
Saka Jesus Martinelli
(Pepe/Nelson) (Nketiah/Balogun) (Trossard/ESR)

why do we even want this clown, for the price he's gonna cost with inflated PL money then you can easily go abroad n get someone better. He'll get caught out with our high line, we need pace.

Apparently did not travel to their match against Exeter due to a sore foot:

Ramsdale
(Turner/Hein)
White Saliba Gabriel Zinchenko
(Tomiyasu/Niles) (Timber/Holding) (Trusty/Kiwior) (Tierney/Tavares)
Odegaard(c) —- Rice
(Xhaka/Lokonga) —- (Partey/Elneny)
Havertz
(Jorginho/Vieira)
Saka Jesus Martinelli
(Pepe/Nelson) (Nketiah/Balogun) (Trossard/ESR)

Only bigmoney , big squad club would buy Evans. This a shrewed backup buy city,Chelsea. But eveans would end up racking up massive playtime.

Am I the only one who thinks Evans would be a good signing?

Better than what he have currently tbh. Shows our level of ambition however.

He's a solid PL defender. Experienced, composed, good on the ball. He also plays on the left which we need. City were interested in summer.

He would be a good stop gap but an expensive one. It will only be money well spent, imo, if one of Mavropanos, Holding or Chambers becomes a top quality CB by the time Evans is considered useless on the pitch by most of us

He would replace Per.
Kos, Mus and Evans would be our senior defenders. With Monreal as backup.
Holding, Chambers, Maverick would be our young potential defenders. One or more may go on loan.
If we are playing three at the back we need the added numbers.
