2017/2018 1/2 92 min penalty by Sanchez, 1-0 win
2016/2017 2/2 98 min penalty by Sanchez, 2-1 win
2016/2017 1/2 93 min goal by Koscielny, 1-0 win

#BurnleyCursed

Tuning in at the 90min mark next time.

3 points grabbed at the last second, again

*Ramsey made a lot of good runs and was unlucky or disappointing with some of his end product. eventually contributed to a goal when all was said and done though so Im not complaining
*Iwobi’s awareness and off the ball play was awful. Barely moved to provide the man on the ball an option which annoyed me to no end. Wilshere for Iwobi was the exact sub I was hoping for so kudos to wenger for making it. Iwobi could learn a thing or two from Wilshere on how to make yourself available for a pass
*Thought Koscielny and Kolasinac started off poorly but got better as the game went on
*Only issue I had with Sanchez was with his passing. He made the most simple of passes look difficult which resulted in good attacking opportunities breaking down
*Noticed Xhaka was loosing out on some 50-50 challenges he should have been winning in the beginning because he was either slower than I realized or just wasn’t committing enough into the tackle. Regardless, it was very frustrating to watch
*Wrt Lacazette, I’m on the side of those saying he should have completed 90 minutes but that’s only if he’s fit enough to do so which only Wenger and the medical team would know. Agree Lacazette should have stayed on alongside Welbeck or Giroud as Lacazette alone was not working. One of the CBs or maybe Bellerin should have come off instead
Ramsdale
(Turner/Hein)
White Saliba Gabriel Zinchenko
(Tomiyasu/Niles) (Timber/Holding) (Trusty/Kiwior) (Tierney/Tavares)
Odegaard(c) —- Rice
(Xhaka/Lokonga) —- (Partey/Elneny)
Havertz
(Jorginho/Vieira)
Saka Jesus Martinelli
(Pepe/Nelson) (Nketiah/Balogun) (Trossard/ESR)

you really are ignorant, arnt you?

burnley are a very well coached team that knows how to set up their D.

anyway... i read through most comments, didnt get to watch the match.

that iwobi is a dog and ramsey is playing his average C level... not surprising.
that laca got no service, also not surprising.

that alexis is the saviour. par for the course., good win.

When did I say he wasn't good enough as a sub? I said he should come on just not take off Lacazette.

Who said the lack of service was justifiable? i just pointed out lack of service hurts Giroud more than even Lacazette
.

that woulda been a good move, imo

Because the only creators on this team are Alexis and Ozil.

Remove one and the team is left with one person trying to get the breakthrough.

The rest of the players arent good enough technically or IQ wise to carve up the defense.

That speaks for itself. Maybe I should have asked the question differently.

How can one spend hundreds of millions on a squad and have such creative deficiency unless one has completely lost the plot?

Though intended as rhetorical question, I'd be more than happy to see someone come up with an alternate plausible explanation.

It's also the formation, it breeds counter attack opportunities rather than pure dominance and creativity due to the massive space between the CM's and the front 3, if you freeze frame during the game you'd see it so many times. You either get counter attacks or focus on wing play from your full backs like Spurs do.

Ozil bridges this which is why he's so important but this formation sucks for an on the ball team. Time to ditch the third CB and put him in midfield.

gooney wrote:Ozil sick which opens the door for iwobi. Nowadays I am more interested in the bench to see the picking order. the 11 has the least competition in the league. Every other team there are competition in some positions. In our team the first 11 are miles ahead of the rest. This is why I dont see the team getting top 4 at all. The season is long and 2-3 injuries and this team becomes really average

So just one example
Hennessy and speroni are better than cech and ospina then ?
That well worn hat is getting spoken out of again

Good player Ferdinand
But he was wrong as well
He can forget losing in the 5 th round to us in 02/03 ( we went on to win the fa cup beating Southampton)
And the 03/04 fa cup final to us
But as an arsenal fan you shouldn't
Just a sample of the 33 cup finals we have played in our history

At Man city in January

We won narrowly away

They get complimented more than enough.. They get to be paid in £10,000's or £100,000's a week.. But they give us nothing in return instead of embarrassment after embarrassment each season..

They are pampered girls already...

Couldn't give a f**k how much they are paid
I felt nothing but joy in our 3 fa cup wins in the last 4 seasons
