Electric Eddie!

Doesn't that make it like 7 goals in 3 appearances for England's u19 team?

Not quiet that good mate
But still pretty impressive
Its 7 in 5 for the under 19's
He scored a hat trick on his debut for them v Poland
7 in 253 mins
Prior to that for the under 18's he scored on his debut v Saudi arabia( that was only on the 22nd March this year)
Following that with a hat trick v quater
4 in 165 mins
These were his only 2 games for the under 18's
So in 7 games he has 11 goals
418 mins
A goal every 38 mins

Nelson played in his rightful position and apperantly did really well. For me you either give youth a chance and play them in a position they can or you dont at all. Why is a 17 year old Nelson expected to play rwb when he hasnt even played in his real position in senior football? I mean surely it would be more logical to play walcott there as he has 10 years experience to draw on? I dont like playing players out of position, but you never play green kids out of position. It has to be an experienced player.

What a goal return. If he can manage to keep his ratio above or around 1 as he reaches the 20 appearances mark, our early excitement would certainly be justified.

It is something you do with juniors below the age of 15 to help them develop a basic understanding of each position, which eventually further helps them with with their decision making and general reading of the game. When a player like Nelson really excels in a certain position at youth level and you decide to play him in a very different position at senior level you're making a huge mistake. Just my two cents.

yeah he was shining and scoring in every game in the u23 this season, very exciting attacker. How did wenger watch him and think hmmm I see a rwb. The truth is wenger has messed up the planning of the squad., If he was gonna play 3-5-2 this season. Why didnt he get wing backs? He says AMN and nelson are not wing backs. But he entered the season with 2 wing backs that he knows has no competition what so ever

Game ends 4-2 to Nigeria. Iwobi easily MOTM.

Honorable mention for number 5 and 20 for Nigeria and number 26 for Argentina
