I thought the new guys stole the show, both were excellent IMO. Lacazettes touch and control show what we have been missing for last several years. Sead was impressive going forward and has a great read on passes.
Nacho did a good job. Really a lot has been asked of him. Can't blame him, in fact he did good considering.
Rob, ugh quit taking so many touches. One touch then pass. His youth showed big time.
Elemny I thought played good. Yes he could be a better, really hasn't been given much playing time.
Xhaka had so many bad passes. Yes he provided on several goals, but he also gave away at least one. Holding midfielder can't lose the ball that much.
Ozil not his best for sure, looked tired or hurt
Giourd again scored. We don't send enough balls in for him, IMO but he also doesn't do enough away from goal.
Would love to see Sanchez in there with Laca to see what will happen, may never see it.
Cech not used to him making such weird decisions
Our set piece defense is horrible, remember the days when other teams were scared to take a corner kick because we were so good at counter attacking. I miss those days

3 goals 6 substitutions
Rarely play enough stoppage time

4 goals first half and only two mins but no subs, still thought 5 was too much. Not trying to fuss but stoppage time can be a questionable some games.

Shouldn't have to be
The clock stops from the min the game stops for a substitute/ goal or injury until it starts again
They never play enough injury time ever
I have spent enough time going mad with teams wasting time against us
It's bollocks to get stressed when it happens against us
It's the one thing you can be absolutly certain of if you make it a 60 min game with a stopped clock

Agree on this, Leicester were wasting time throughout yesterday. Seen this in so many of our games, I'd actually be shocked if we get more than 60 minutes played on average in most of our games.

Sunderland home last year we had 36 shots in our 2-0 win
We were more clinical yesterday scoring 4 from 27

Yeah was a variety of offense. Hope we dont lose alexis cuz him in the team really takes attention away from the rest of the attackers.

I'd get Butland in now (or if meeting the homegrown rule isn't an issue, a Leno or Oblak) and offload whoever's easier to sell between Ospina and Cech

I'd have Butland.
