O look we always f***ing survive without these dudes anyway, let's not act like we'd be playing with 10 players. Sanchez was largely crap last season (yes his stats r ok) and we still did about the same overall as with him on fire this season.

We'll replace him with an average player and rely on someone else instead, same as 2012/13, same as every other year.

Nothing special with or without him, always ~4th anyway.

I can't deny that the result is the same (4th or close to it). But while Sanchez's production can't be faulted, the rest of the team is just not up to par. And in a nutshell, this is why he wants to get out!

It can't and that's true but the goals will just be more spread out next season and we'll have to defend better. Maybe we won't have as many nice wins as we did early in the season but end of the day I can't imagine we'll actually end up with a much different points total and/or position.

Maybe Middlesbrough can come up with a draw against Liverpool.

Hats off to Pickford.

I wouldn't count on that, Boro are already relegated Liverpool should win easily, at least on paper :sneaky2:

Best player: Ozil. Made Prem history (since Opta anyway)--created the most number of chances in a single game by a player (12).

Xhaka's best game as a Gunner so far. Alexis drifted in and out of the game, but in both occassions, he was at the right place at the right time. Game changed after Iwobi came on. His drive from midfield helped us put more pressure on Sunderland. Their GK (Pickford) had the match of his life.

+ we need to hammer someone just for the lelz. What better game, eh?

Its not happening we needed wet Ham to at least draw for any chance barring a miracle that Liverpool draw or loose at home to boro it looks like Thursday night football for us oh how the mighty have fallen

Real Madrid were knocked out the uefa cup by Odense
Barcelona were knocked out the uefa cup by Celtic
Man Utd have had seasons without qualifying for Europe at all
Bayern Munich have been in the uefa cup in the last 9 years
We are falling prey to a manager past his sell by date
If it's to be the Europa league on a Thursday so be it
We will still be mighty arsenal
Just like when we were playing on a Thursday in 94/95
Adams Bould Dixon and winterburn were leaking like a sieve
Came back under a new boss to be mighty again

Cech
Holding - Mustafi - Monreal
Bellerin - El Neny - Ramsey - Gibbs
Özil - Iwobi
Lucas

Subs: Ospina - Maitland-Niles - Gabriel - Coquelin - Giroud - Theo - Welbeck

Maitland-miles is in South Korea with the England under 20 World Cup squad

Lots not to like but let' sgive a BIG shout out to Xhaka for the season worst performance so far by any player I have seen.

Once again get hold of your self
The last time Sunderland were relegated and arsenal finished outside the top 4 ( 7 th)
The following 10 years panned out like this
Arsenal
86/87 league cup winners
88/89 league winners
90/91 league winners
92/93 fa cup and league cup winners
93/94 cup winners cup winners
Sunderland
86/87 relegated from tier 2 to the 3rd
90/91 relegated from the top division to tier 2
Do you really believe arsenal are on a similar path ?

Happened in 90/91 when we won the league losing 1 game
Finished 0-0 as well
