you are the worst arsenal fan ever

Well he did have a valid point, everything was negative today, the team especially.and the formation was a failure today.
Somehow today the matchday post was only about Walcott lovers against Alexis fans.. some of us forgot the football game..

Well it wasn't all that memorable was it

I will remember it for being ugliest game of the season, so slow and confused.I think the game reflected Wengers gameplans in general.
Also now you never forget Alexis almost Rivaldo like acting, 1-2 minutes off from the clock nicely.Part of the game also.

Wenger so lucky, he stirred the team to absolute shite, no gameplan, poor starting line-up, best players missing, no control..

Hmm controversial post. Don't know many teams who could use their game plan effectively when the opposition have 10 men behind the ball.
To be fair Wenger bested a team on form and deserved the win; bringing on fresh legs at the right time.
Maybe you were in the front row and saw more than me, but from where I was sitting he done everything right to get the win today.

You all know my opinion on Wonger ... but ... his biggest weakness is putting out the same eleven week in week out regardless who we are playing ....

Leicester against our slow, poorly positioned back four, with no midfield cover? they would have caught us on the break time after time ... so instead play a back seven and rely on our superior striker(s) to score ...

Not pretty at all, but somehow it worked ....

Won't do for the NLD, they have way more striking power than Leicester ... but was right for last night ...

Win ugly, but win ......

Tbf, people seem to be forgetting that we just came out of a hard fought win v man city that lasted 120 minutes on Sunday, to play the current champions who have had a whole weeks rest prior to this game. Nevermind their trademark high temp counter game, we did well not to fold considering the recent performances.

Coming off a dismal run of form turned into a few positive games, this was a huge win.

Agree completely.
I'm always kind of pessimistic when it comes to Arsenal but the FA Cup win followed by a clutch late win against Leicester just feels awesome.
How about we all take a step back from all the doom and gloom and enjoy these good results. I might be the only one according to this thread but I really felt like we were trying today.

Let's see how this season turns out. Might be way better than we expected. Then again, this is Arsenal FC, so who knows.

But it was pretty hilarious in the stands seeing Alexis clown around (and have a bit of fun with the ref throughout the game) and the Schmichel going beserk at the end! I think our "your dad is better than you" and "you're just a sh*t Peter Schmichel" chants got to him.

Not usually I agree with Zedie's eternal optimism but in this case I do.

Leicester are also high on confidence, one game after an epic battle with City and they basically parked the bus and played anti-football.

People have forgotten how these sorts of games were always giving us trouble early in the season when we played 4-5-1 the same issues were happening, difference was we didn't always get the win.

We've never blown away teams parking the bus, not now and not all season, it has nothing to do with the current set up or effort.

What I saw is that we 3/4 of the game we were firmly in charge, recovering the ball, harrying them down, making an effort.

The only thing I was disappointed with was Sanchez and Ozil's final balls and goal efforts, people were also not putting Walcott in through the gaps but other than that .......... 3 points.

If we beat City, a revived Leicester and put a nail in Spurs in one week ........ how is that not a great result?

Yes we're not playing pretty football but that's because we've been shipping goals and losing games hence why we're playing 3-4-3.

Leicester were due to play Tottenham at the weekend but the game was postponed because of Spurs involvement in the fa cup semi final
Nothing rigged about it
That has how it has always happened
We did what we had to do to get into an fa cup final
No excuses
It is what it is
