Hello Everyone

Postby Sheldon Cooper » Wed Mar 08, 2017 12:57 pm

Hello All,

I am from Italy and I am a supporter of Torino (the team who shares the city of Turin with the absolute evil, Juventus  ).
Torino do not win the "Serie A", since 1976 and very rarely plays in European Leagues. (I was 10 at that time, may be I am the oldest member of this Forum  ).
Yesterday I saw the match of the Arsenal with Bayern and I decided to support Arsenal in future in Europe and in Premier League.
I think Arsenal has a great history and deserves great satisfactions. Hope that, from yesterday on, things will change.
Sorry for my english. ;)

You decided to become an Arsenal after yesterday? Respect. TBBT sucks though.

You decided to support us after yesterday?

Is this some sort of sympathy support? Is this what it's come to now.... We're the English Chapecoense

First of all, thanks for the welcome. ;)

I would like to clarify that my support that started yesterday has not to be intended as compassionate. I have not even the right to do so.
I can only imagine the frustration of the people that is an Arsenal supporter since he was born after yesterday match.
In my experience, for what it's worth, Arsenal continues to have a good reputation between the "great" of european football.
I understand that last years in european competitions have not been good, but please take a look to other teams in Europe. Milan, for example: 7 Champions League won and now it is an average ranking team. Juventus - as said, as supporter of Turin, the absolute evil - : five years (6 with this year) winner of Serie A (light years behind Premier League). But the last Champions won is in 1996, and I hope it will remain for many years to come.
I really hope Arsenal will be great again both in PL than in CL or EL.

P.s. The username is fault of my grandson that started to make me watch TBBT.
...I am sure that Sheldon is for Arsenal! :)

You're welcome, it was just a bit of dark humour aimed at ourselves

Thank you!
I can understand your mood in these days, but remember that Arsenal has a good reputation in Europe. Here in Italy for sure.
...and please do not be to bad with yourself!
