Absolutely appalling.

RIP to those who've died. A horrendous tragedy for the whole football world.

It appears that Chapecoense were in the process of "doing a Leicester"

:(

This has got to me. When you consider our players go flying around everywhere for CL games, could easily happen here.

RIP

Nacional should just forfeit the match in their honor tbh, don't see how the game will ever go ahead and not sure what a club is supposed to do in this state, even the 3 survivors won't be mentally up for playing even if they are in fine physical shape.

Absolutely tragic, no real words for it. Poor team, families and fans :(

The team had been due to play in the final of the Copa Sudamericana, against Medellin team Atletico Nacional.
The first leg of the final of the cup, South America's second most important club competition, was scheduled for Wednesday but has now been suspended.
The competition organisers say Atletico Nacional has asked for Chapecoense to be awarded the cup, despite the matches not being played.

From the original link.

Sad news indeed. Thoughts to their families. Just tragic.
