Tony is back, he's the strongest leader the UK has

Hope he creates a party or takes back Labour and becomes PM again

There are not enough lemmings to vote than grinning, lying snake back into office.

His legacy consists of lying to take us into the Iraq war, leaving the nation in debt higher than since WWII and the financial bubble crisis locally mainly to do with the housing market which he presided over.

Debt when Blair left office by the usual measure, which is % of GDP, was less than half of what it is now, roughly the same as under Major, and lower than under Thatcher.

Historically, debt in this country was much higher than it is even now, at various points including during the 1960s

The Tories' spending cuts and driving down of living standards are ideological, not essential.

Maybe that's because of inflation since Blair and the fact that when he left office is when the repayment of the debt he amounted had to begin.

What about the war? what about the 100% mortgages he allowed to run rampant driving up the house prices by people who can't even pay off a credit card let alone pay a mortgage with zero capital as a deposit?

Tony Blair was a fkin fraud, The Conservatives helped with the regulation of the banks regarding going back to qualifying mortgage applicants and making it so they had a minimum of 10% deposit, in some cases 15-20% meaning that the housing market was only rising in line with financially responsible / viable people which is basically in line with real inflation not a false bubble economy.

I for one don't like everything about the Tories but they know how to manage the economy far better than labour.

Im addressing the falsehoods of the national debt here, not the Iraq war.

The increase in the debt since Blair left office is on the Tories table just as much as Labour

This fallacy that they've handled the economy well is a carefully orchestrated lie. How exactly have they managed the economy well? We owe MORE money and people's wages are stagnant and have been for years.

They've managed to preside over falling living standards, increasing debt and they've cut benefits and public services at the same time.

Where is the success exactly?

Fair enough but is that debt increase because of the % we're now paying back because of what Blair left us or because of further borrowing at the same rate Tony was by Conservatives.

I thought it was a well known fact that Blair borrowed more than former recent Gov's had?

What we know now would be more because of the accumulated debt he left us with?

Blair did not leave a deficit behind, Brown did

Blair was right, as he always is. Man has predicted the future accurately because he is smart and knows what to do.

He certainly knows how to lie to people and throw away British lives. I think the majority of the British public have wised up to his lies behind the public facade.

If this does happen and the offer includes full freedom of movement, I would pay it if it was affordable
